
If you can get three other enemies with a unit that doles out a lot of exp (eg the Hulking Guns, Alphas) for a two, even three-wave fight, you get a wave bonus AND the additional exp seems to scale really well. Try and gather large amounts of enemies in one go. I posted this somewhere else, but a few other tips:

You just need to end with the party at full health.Īn easy way to accomplish both this (and the Perfect one) is to get Sully's start-with-a-shield perk. You forgot the Full Health bonus, which is also fairly significant. A great way to use this is with "miniboss" enemies, or "combo" groups. If done right, you should skyrocket in XP, and your whole party should go up multiple levels. Seek out the strongest enemy you can, preferably at least 3 levels higher than your party, and one-shot all enemies one-by-one. Look at your available party, and dump all of your damage gear into the single strongest attack you have, preferably single-target. (I recommend damage, early game you can use Devil's Tripel for +40 attack to your party for 3 fights) Obviously, you have to *win* the fight, but if you're having issues, you can grind battle burst, get shrines, and use pre-fight bonuses. the bigger the level gap, the more XP you get, which compounds with bonus XP.

Unlike one-shot wonder, this doesn't yield too much XP, but does trigger off of most kills done by one-shot. You will, however, get credit if they die from a status effect caused from the one attack, such as poison or fire, even if it takes several ticks. If they're damaged by any other means (other enemies, dungeon abilities, etc) you won't get credit. It's the most reliable, and yields significant gains. I've never encountered this issue, so here's how bonus XP works, and how you should use it. I've been seeing a lot of people complaining about the "grind" they're experiencing.
