Located in the Market Place, Ghiradelli has a traditional soda fountain as well as a chocolate shop, and it almost always extremely busy. Ghiradelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop has been a staple at Disney Springs since before it was even called Disney Springs, and even though other ice cream shops have popped up at Walt Disney World since, this still remains a very popular favorite. What to order: it’s all about the process here so anything will taste amazing, but I do love the vanilla ice cream with Captain Crunch cereal and caramel sauce. Where: 4498 N Alafaya Trail Unit 330, Orlando FL 32826 You can then add toppings, which I would highly recommend – we love adding Captain Crunch cereal! You select your flavor and then watch as they flash freeze it with liquid nitrogen that freezes the ice cream while still keeping it smooth and creamy. If you’ve never tried nitrogen ice cream, you need to change that! It’s such a fun experience to watch it being made, and a great experience for kids – my toddler loves it here!įrozen Nitrogen Ice Cream has only been in Orlando for a short time but it’s a great place with super friendly employees and delicious ice cream. What to order: Try any of their non dairy options in a black ash cone. Where: 420 E Church Street Unit 112, Orlando FL 32801 The location is small (parking can be found around the back of the building) and a short walk from Lake Eola, which is a great place to stroll with an ice cream (and one of my recommendations for family friendly things to do in Orlando outside of the theme parks!)
ROLLED ICE CREAM ORLANDO FREE
I have always been skeptical about dairy free ice cream but theirs is the best I’ve ever tried! The Greenery creamery specializes in dairy free ice cream (although they have ice cream with dairy in too) homemade in small batches using organic and locally sourced ingredients. If you’re vegan or have a dairy allergy and are looking for the best ice cream in Orlando then this is absolutely the place for you! What to order: If they’re serving it, the Guava soft serve is amazing – if not, try the Matcha Green Tea soft serve instead. Where: In the East End Market on Corrine Drive They rotate their flavors and include some seasonal varieties, so it’s hard to know what they’ll serve on any given day (unless you follow them on social media, which is what I do to keep up to date with their options!) but if you visit while they have the Guava soft serve on sale, it’s my absolute favorite! Otherwise their Matcha Green Tea is light and refreshing.Įast End Market on Corrine Drive is actually one of my favorite places to eat in Orlando and home of Gideon’s Bakehouse, which sells my favorite chocolate chip cookie in the whole world (and is one of my most Instagrammable sweet treats in Orlando!) What to order: My favorite is the mango sorbet in a chocolate dipped waffle cone, but I do love their seasonal flavors as well dragonfruit and mocha fudge are firm favorites! DOMUĭOMU can be found in the East End Market in the Audubon Park District of Orlando, and while they actually specialize in ramen and other noodle dishes, they serve some of the best soft serve ice cream I’ve ever had! You can also find them at The Yard, and they have counters throughout the Central Florida area. Where: 3114 Corrine Drive, Orlando FL 32803 is their original location, but there are also other locations in Orlando, Oviedo, and Horizon West. Kelly’s has been in Orlando since 2015 and began because Kelly, who previously worked in an ice cream shop, noticed that people always smile when you hand them an ice cream, which is one of the best things I’ve ever heard! The ice cream is delicious and the atmosphere at the store is cozy and welcoming. There are so many different flavors of ice cream and sorbet, their homemade waffle bowls are amazing, and as if the ice cream weren’t enough, there are board games for the kids to play while they eat! Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream in our favorite place for ice cream in Orlando when we visit as a family because it’s so kid friendly.
